Texas Friends Visit

Our good friends Chrystal and Ayden came to South Carolina for a visit. They stayed with us for one week. We had such a great time visiting, sightseeing and reminiscing about the past. Kylie and Ayden instantly hit it off again and it was as if though they were never separated. Kylie and Ayden are still the best of buds and we hope to visit with them again soon!

Chloe's Baptism

Chloe's baptism was last weekend. Grammie and Grandpa joined us for the baptism. Big sister Kylie was able to participate in the baptism by holding a candle and a cloth. Chloe was able to wear Kylie's baptism dress which made the baptism even more special.

Memorial Day Weekend

We visited Pennsylvania for Memorial Day Weekend. We were able to visit with our family and friends. Kylie and Chloe were both excellent for the long car ride. During the ten hour drive, Chloe mostly slept and Kylie was able to watch some of her favorite DVD's and eat some special treats! Our trip to PA was short, but always memorable!

Splash Park

The summer heat is already here! When we lived in Texas Kylie loved going to the splash park on hot summer days. We decided to try to find one in the area. We discovered a splash park close by and decided to check it out. Kylie enjoyed the splash park and was able to play on the playground after she was done running through the water. This was Chloe's first time visiting a splash park. She was a little too young to enjoy it like her sister but in a couple of months she will be able to sit in the water and play.

A Colorful Mother's Day

On Mother's Day we visited the Festival of Flowers at Biltmore. This was our first time seeing the display of flowers. The flower fragrances were lovely and the array of colorful flowers were gorgeous. The weather was perfect. This year Kylie and Chloe were able to celebrate Mother's Day with both Mommy and Grammie!

Easter Egg Hunt

The First Annual Hunt for Hospice Easter Egg Hunt was this past weekend. Kylie was able to hunt for several candy filled eggs. The Easter Bunny attended the hunt as well as two live bunnies, an inflatable slide, a big bounce house, face painting, cotton candy, popcorn and some prizes. We had so much fun and the weather was just perfect!
