A Very Special Rose Family Easter

This was the first year we were able to spend Easter with Grammie and Grandpa. This was also Chloe's first trip away from home.

Saturday was a fun filled day! Mommy and Daddy were able to go out on a lunch date while Grammie and Grandpa watched the kids. Kylie and Grammie were able to color Easter eggs. Also, Aunt Jean and Grammie's friend Elayne were able to stop by for a visit to meet Chloe.

On Sunday, the Easter bunny arrived with baskets for Kylie and Chloe. Big sister Kylie was gladly willing to help Chloe open her Easter basket. We were able to attend church for the first time since Chloe was born. We really enjoyed visiting Grammie's church and meeting all of Grammie's church friends.

Chloe's First Visit To The Zoo

Last Friday was Chloe's first trip to Riverbank's zoo. We were able to see elephants, giraffes, monkeys, gorillas, zebras, kangaroos, lions, tigers and bears! We believe Chloe enjoyed the zoo, but unfortunately she slept through the entire visit! Kylie loves visiting the zoo too. Her favorite part of the zoo is riding on the carousel!

Chloe's Two Week Check-Up

Chloe had a great two week check-up. She now weighs 6lbs 7oz and is 19 3/4 inches in length. Her next scheduled visit will be her two month check-up in June.

Chloe loves to sleep. She sleeps all night except for when we awake her for feedings. Below are pictures of some of her firsts- first bath, first thumb sucking, and the first time Grandma and Pap Pap visited Chloe. There are also pictures of Kylie enjoying her little sister.

A New Rose Is Born!

Chloe Marie Rose has arrived! Chloe was born on Monday, March 28, 2011. She weighed 6lbs 6oz and was 19 1/2 inches in length. The delivery went great and both Mommy and Chloe are doing very well. Big sister Kylie is so excited that her baby sister has arrived.
